AI4DYS is the bridge between imagination and learning.
The lack of a strong basic education not only limits the chances of securing a good job but also creates room for increased crime rates.
Students, from the very beginning of their educational journey, often start facing challenges during the literacy phase.
We developed an educational application based on virtual reality with adaptive artificial intelligence, in partnership with the Domlexia Institute, to monitor students' performance and automatically adjust the complexity and content of activities. This educational content, presented in an immersive game format, allows students, with or without learning disabilities, to progress in their learning journey in a personalized way, respecting each individual's pace.
AI4DYS leverages students' curiosity and imagination to create a real learning environment with personalized pathways, so that those with learning difficulties can benefit from an approach tailored to their individual needs. It fosters essential literacy skills through a playful, immersive environment, grounded in scientific evidence.
The project content was created in a virtual reality environment that transforms the classroom into an interactive and adaptive world, where each student can explore letters, sounds, and words on a gamified platform. The immersive experience uses virtual reality to reinforce phonetic understanding, allowing students to visualize and interact with 3D letters. AI ensures that the difficulty level of each activity automatically adjusts to individual progress, promoting an adaptive and engaging learning approach for students.
AI4DYS participated in the CES 2024 event.
The project was officially presented at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), the world's largest innovation and technology fair, held in January 2024 in Las Vegas. The presentation highlighted the transformative role of augmented reality, virtual reality, and artificial intelligence in education, drawing interest from global institutions and reinforcing 10i9's position as a pioneer in innovative educational solutions.
This project was developed in partnership with Qualcomm and Lenovo, as part of the technology acceleration program Spaces. 10i9 Technology is the only Latin American company in the program, solidifying its position as a leader in augmented and virtual reality solutions in the region. The technical expertise of the Domlexia Institute was essential in adapting the content to meet the needs of students with learning disabilities, such as dyslexia, leveraging best practices and innovative studies in the field of literacy.

The AI4DYS has shown a measurable positive impact, confirming the effectiveness of this approach. By applying diverse teaching styles tailored to different students' needs, improvements in children's literacy can be observed. With real-time data, teachers and schools gain a better understanding of each student's development, allowing for early and targeted interventions to optimize learning.
